Normally when you restart NeoLoad it should automatically picked up the list of installed browser. You can also manually add it in the list if necessary.

Did you try the procedure below to make your recordings?

  1. Manually start your browser
  2. Change your Chrome proxy settings to "localhost:8090" for all protocols
  3. Start your NeoLoad recording in proxy mode without starting the browser
  4. Connect to your application

Is it an issue to record only your application or any applications? Have you tried with a different browser like Firefox?

Also, when you say it does not work, what is the symptom? Are you still able to reach your application but nothing is recorded or the application is not working at all during the recording?

Not working means, The browser is not shown in the browsers list. I am able to record the same application in all the other browsers (IE 9 & Firefox) but chrome is not shown in the list.
Once the browser is listed then I can check the recording issues if any.

Ok so have you tried to manually add the Chrome browser in the NeoLoad preferences under Browsers?

If you add it there then it should be available in the drop down list when recording.
