We have an service method which is executed based on 1 parameter which changes value on each iteration. Based on this parameter , we want to report transaction time(Container in neoload). So can we change name of container during execution ? if yes pls provide one example. Thanks .
Unfortunately, changing dynamically the name of a container is not possible. This is an enhancement we have in mind for the future.
Does Neoload have an update regarding Dynamic Transaction/container Naming Now? in the release after 2015 year.
I have to do a parameterization/correlate a value on Transaction containe name.
Example: Transaction folder name ${Timestamp}.
is this possible in the new versions of neoload..??
This is still not covered and no short term plan for it.
Do new version 7.2 has any solution for above question on "dynamic Transaction container"?
No, transaction names cannot be dynamic
what is the alternative solution. We have a situation: there is a list of 100 static URL's as testdata. we need to provide the statistics for each URL for particular duration under load.
Practically, We cannot create 100 scripts for each URL's, So need to know the solution that neoload can provide on the same?
The URL can be parameterised, would this help?
i need to name transaction as per the URL picked up.
1.if testdata : "URL1" is picked then name of Transaction should be : "Transaction_URL1"
2.if testdata : "URL2" is picked then name of Transaction should be : "Transaction_URL2"
how can we achieve this
Hi Neil,
I really looking forward a alternative solution, Since most of our scripts are dependent on these 'Dynamic Naming" of Container
This is a common request but unfortunately this is not currently possible, you should submit a request on the ideas page
