In the Monitor section, when I try to check the 'Connection Status', a message saying 'Failed to connect : Access denied' is displayed. Please see the attachment. However, if I try to connect to the Host remotely then I am able to connect to the Host. Please let me know how to correct this situation.
When you would like to monitor a Microsoft product like MSSQL server you need to make sure that your user belongs to the Performance Monitor Users group on the server you are trying to monitor.
You get an "Access denied" that means that your user does not have sufficient rights to monitor your machine.
