And I am struggling to understand the syntax, as no other examples are given.
I am trying to save the following template but it doesn't save and there is no error or explanation as to why.
$path$ wa: $param.wa$
Am I using the syntax correctly?

You cannot place multiple variables together, you may only use one variable per row in the page naming policy. These are prioritised top to bottom.
