How can I do a load test with 2FA/MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) login process (i.e. via SMS-Code)?

is this code sent just to the phone? are they stored in a database? can the code be hardcoded? can it be disabled?
The code is sending to a mobile phone number.
I have to check the other options.
