i am not able to increase neoloadGUI.vmoptions from 1g to 2g.Neoload didn't start.
First of all make sure that you are not using the x86 version since in that case the maximum size is around 1.5Gb. Plus i assume that you have at least 2GB RAM available in your machine otherwise it won't work.
If the above information does not help could you provide the modifications that you did in case you made a mistake?

I am using x86 version but I am getting an error on LG.

The specified size exceeds the maximum representable size.
Installed memory 40.0 GB
Processor: 2.50 GHz(4 processors)

The 32bit executable uses a 32bit JRE, a 32bit Java JVM can only reference 1.9GB. You should be using the 64bit Neoload.
From where to download neoload old version 64 bit version?

These links contain till 7.1 version,I was looking for 3.0 version
Why would you be on 3.0? I doubt this version is still supported and wouldn't have been tested on Windows 2016 server
