I have ran through the installation a couple of times on my Linux VMs but I cannot find the option to install the WAN emulation drivers. I have read an answer on these forums that said it was not possible on some VMs, so I was wondering if that is still the case or if there is a way to force it.
I have found the WAN emulation driver install guide, which is a good start.
https://www.neotys.com/documents/doc/neoload/6.7.x/en/Web...
However I cannot progress past step 1 as it says it cannot create symbolic link as no such file or directory exists.
The WAN driver installation is different on Windows and Linux. Starting from NeoLoad 6.7 and for Windows 10/2016 versions there's no installation required anymore. For older Windows version it is still necessary.
Regarding Linux the WAN driver is only compatible for the kernel versions up to 3.14.xx. Higher kernel versions are not supported by this WAN driver. The support of higher kernel version is planned for the future NeoLoad versions.
So if you have issues installing the WAN drivers on Linux please check your kernel version.
