Are VM Processor load above 100% realistic?

During a load test of an intranet application on a Virtual Machine I monitor the windows/VM Processor/Processor Time. In serveral tests I see %- values between 85 % and 132 % s blue line in the attached screenshot. It remains the same when I change the graph properties to time line. How can VM CPU-busy be more than 100%?

This VM processor is a counter added by VMWare and you're right it's not should be higher than 100%. I googled a bit and it seems to be an issue that is reported by other persons.

You should confirm that using perfmon but i guess it's an issue on VMware counter.
