Response Times are Questionable?

I've been getting questionable results from my initial NeoLoad tests and am looking for some suggestions as to why that might be.

I am testing with 10 VUs and simply loading the home page of our site. Running this test, NeoLoad says that it takes an average of 5 seconds and up to 59 seconds for the page to load.

This is categorically not true and I have tested in other load test software which shows it loading at max in under 4 seconds.

Can anyone shed some light on why NeoLoad seems to be seeing something completely different?

Thanks!

The first thing to check is if you are really comparing the same page in all the products. I mean in NeoLoad a page includes requests so have you checked that your other products have the same number of requests and if they are the same?

When the response time is high, have you identified one particular request responsible of such high response time on the page?

It's definitely comparing the same page. The problem seems to occur across the board with different requests for images, js or css. I'm attaching a screenshot of some of the offenders in question. The average response times are relatively fine but the some of the max values are ridiculously high.

If you look at the max TTFB of those requests and the max average, do you get a big difference?

I'm wondering if the high response could be due to the network.

How many times those requests were executed? Was it from same load generator?
